ProEdit is not technically a job search site. It’s really a company that provides editing, writing, and instructional design services. As such, however, they are consistently looking for specific talents to match project needs. Based on the number of jobs posted, ProEdit seems to be growing, so it’s worth checking for writing, editing, or instructional design professionals.
The company is based in Atlanta, GA, so many of the projects are located near there, but location may vary based on project need. I’ve seen job posts in various locations across the US.
Many of the jobs are term-based contract positions for specific projects, but others are internal or telecommute. It’s certainly worth checking, submitting a resume, and signing up for email updates on new job posts for editors, writers, technical writers, or instructional designers, especially if interested in the Atlanta, GA area.
